For comprehensive information on carnivorous plants, we highly recommend The Carnivorous Plant Society. Their website, www.thecps.org.uk, is an invaluable resource for enthusiasts of all levels.

Membership is an affordable £20 per year for a single membership and includes:

• An 85-page growing guide packed with essential tips for cultivating carnivorous plants.
• A CPS enamel Pin Badge.
• A car sticker to proudly display your passion.
• A copy of 'Planta Carnivora', their annual publication, typically released in December.
• Various informative newsletters throughout the year.
• Membership give you free entry to CPS events held at RHS venues.

• Included in your membership is access to our seed bank, you may choose four free packs of seed a year plus two additional packs of seeds for a small fee.

The aim of the charity is to Educate, Cultivate and aid Conservation projects. In the last 12 months The CPS has donated over £3,000 to various projects, one of these being the Lancashire Wildlife Trust in helping to restore some of their Peat Bogs.
